Maccabi 'Shachar' Tel Aviv registered its first win of the Ramljak Tournament in Zagreb, Croatia defeating Greek champions Olympiakos with the help of Gavriel Kanichowsky's brace

 With the victory, coach Ziv Arie's club will finish group play in 2nd place as they have played three matches in three days drawing with Dinamo Zagreb, losing to Cagliari and winning against Olympiakos. Maccabi will now face Nigerian side Abuja for third place in the tournament.

 Maccabi Tel Aviv Youth Department Director Nir Levin said after the match: "The players were well organized and fought very hard on the pitch. We've received many compliments because of our play in this tournament and now that we've finished in second place in our group, we will face Ajuba from Nigeria for third place overall in the competition."

 Hosts Dinamo Zagreb will face Copenhagen of Denmark in the tournament final.
