The Yellow & Blue keeper, Predrag Rajikovic addressed the media at the weekly press conference that took place at Kiryat Shalom and spoke about how important the State Cup is to him:

“I came to the biggest club in Israel and it would be disappointing not to win anything. We must win the State Cup next Thursday.”

About his future at Maccabi:
“I don’t know. It’s not just up to me but the Club as well. I’m pretty sure that I’ll begin the preseason with Maccabi in any case. Of course I want to go to one of the best leagues in the world, but I don’t know if it will happen this summer. What happens if I am transferred and then I don’t play? Perhaps it’s better to stay for another one or two seasons to gain even more experience to be even better when I move to one of the best clubs in the world.”

Prepared to play in one of the best league’s in the world:
“I believe that I am ready for one of the best leagues in the world, but we will see what will be.”

About Beitar and the importance of the match:
“I’ve been here for two seasons and they always seem to cause us problems. This time we have nothing to lose, they need a win to make sure they get into European qualification so I want to make sure that we give them some problems.”
