Dor Peretz, the Maccabi Tel Aviv defensive midfielder looked back at his side’s 4:0 win over Hapoel Haifa on Matchday 24 of the Israel Premier League Ligat Ha’Al:

“We played an excellent match today and the ball went into the goal. We had some terrific minutes and we controlled the pace of play as we took 3 important points.”

3 points:
“These were another 3 important points like any other match and I’m happy that the result was in our favor.”

Preparation:
“We come prepared for every match, but the ball just didn’t go in against Raanana, but we prepare the same way for each match.”

Difficult matches coming up:
“We have a number of difficult matches coming up including next Saturday in Ashdod at the Yud Alef and only after that match will we think about the next contest. These were 3 very important points and we will come prepared to the next one with the goal of taking another 3 points.”

The return of Eli Dasa:
“We’re very happy when Eli Dasa plays, but if he doesn’t, there is always someone who can play in his place just like every one of us has a replacement. When he plays he adds another dimension and we’re happy when he is there on the pitch with us. He played really well today and we’re happy he’s back.”

Personal expectations:
“I have to do what’s expected of me and what’s demanded of me. Sometimes it doesn’t go as well and sometimes it does. But I think that we are all playing well together and I’m happy that I’m in the Starting XI.”
