The Under-17 Israel National Team will head out to the prestigious European Championship Tournament that begins this Friday. 16 teams will be split up into 4 groups with the two best advancing to the quarterfinal round. Israel was drawn into Group A together with Italy, Switzerland and the host country England. The Maccabi Tel Aviv Youth Department will have five representatives with the squad including, Dan Lugassi, Ido Shahar, Omri Ram, Nadav Nidam and Rave Assayag.
