Preparations for the 2018/19 Israel Premier League Ligat Ha’Al season may have just gotten underway and today, Tuesday the fixtures for the upcoming campaign were determined at a draw held at the Netanya Stadium.

The season will begin on August 25th and Maccabi Tel Aviv along with the other teams in the league found out their opponents and match dates which includes an opening day clash against Maccabi Haifa and a Matchday 2 trip to Hapoel Beer Sheva. The Derby against Hapoel Tel Aviv is slated for Matchday 5 and the following Matchday Maccabi will visit Beitar Jerusalem at Teddy Stadium.

Maccabi Tel Aviv will also face Beitar Jerusalem in Toto Cup play (28/29.7). The format of the competition has changed this season and the winner of this match will advance to the semifinals and the loser will play in a ranking match.
