Maccabi Tel Aviv continued preparing for the new season as Vladan Ivic’s squad defeated Beitar Tel Aviv/Ramle 6:0 in a friendly at the PenguinPickUp Training Ground at Kiryat Shalom.

The Yellow & Blue began the match well and took a 3:0 lead into the break thanks to a brace by Vidar Kjartansson and a lone strike by Avi Rikan. The second half saw more of the same from Maccabi as Matan Hozez scored and Eliran Atar added a brace for a 6:0 victory.

On Thursday the Club will play its first official match of the 2018/19 season when they visit Ferencváros in Budapest, Hungary for the opening leg of their Europa League First Round Qualifying tie.
