The 30-year-old midfielder who recently returned to the squad after recovering from illness, said: “The recent victories were important for our confidence. We are expecting a tough match on Saturday, at a difficult time as the current fixture list is very demanding with matches almost every other day. But we have an excellent squad with very good players so regardless who plays we will do our best and hopefully collect the the three points”.

Golasa, who could start in the absence of suspended midfield duo Dan Glazer and Eden Shamir, added: “Hapoel Jerusalem proved a tough side to beat in the previous match against them as the goal we scored came late in the game so we expect a tough match at a tough ground”.

Currently ranked fourth in the table with 28 points, 13 adrift of top spot, Golasa remained adamant: “For now we are not even looking at the table as the most important thing for us is to win each game as it comes”.
