What are the benefits of renewing your season ticket?

There are a number of benefits when renewing your season ticket:

•  The view from your Netanya Stadium seat will be as close as possible to that at Bloomfield (In some cases the view will be even better)
• Reduced price
• Free ticket to the first and second round (should the Club advance) Europa League qualifying home matches
• Priority to purchase tickets to selected matches throughout the season

Can I have the same seat location for home matches that are not part of the season ticket (Europe, State Cup, TotoCup – knockout round)?

The Club does not guarantee that season ticket holders will be able to have the same seat for European and Cup competitions. However, season ticket holders will receive the same seat for the first and second round Europa League matches.

How can I renew my season ticket? (Beginning on Friday June 17th at 10:00)

Since the Club will be moving to the Netanya Stadium, new Season Ticket cards will be issued and last year’s will not be valid.

Power of attorney and transferring ownership of a season ticket – Can I transfer the rights of my season ticket?

Due to demand, the Club is permitting the transfer of season ticket ownership. To transfer the ownership Teudat Zehut copies must be presented by the two parties. Please note, that the full price of the season ticket will be in effect once ownership is transferred.

You must bring a ownership transfer form to one of the locations listed above.
Transfer of ownership will be permitted up until the end of the renewal period.

What happens if my season ticket is stolen or lost during the season?

The cost of issuing a new season ticket is 100 NIS regardless of the cause or theft.
We recommend that you don’t carry the season ticket in your wallet when there is no need to since it may be stolen or lost.

I want to renew my season ticket but I can’t come to one of the Open Days. What can I do?

If you can’t come to one of the Open Days don’t worry as you can renew your season ticket between Sunday June 19-29 and can be done via all of the ways listed a nice and at the Netanya Stadium. It’s important to note that there will be a representative at the Netanya Stadium during work hours.

Can someone else renew my season ticket for me? (If I’m outside of Israel/can’t come/live far away etc…)

Yes. A power of attorney and a copy of the Teudat Zehut associated with the season ticket will be needed.

Other information will be needed including: Email, mobile phone number, home address and birth date.

My season ticket is in Section X. Can I move my season ticket to a different section?

It will not be possible to move the season ticket location unless it is to the East Side Stand Mezzanine Premium Section.

I am a season ticket holder and I don’t want to renew my seats in the Netanya Stadium. Once the Club returns to Bloomfield or to another stadium can I renew my season ticket?

No. Priority will be given to current season ticket holders.
For example: If the Club plays in a different stadium for the 2017/18 season only 2016/17 season ticket holders will be given priority to purchase a season ticket.

I want to obtain a transferred season ticket but the owner is out of the country or unavailable. I can I make this transaction nonetheless?

Ownership transfer of season tickets can only be done with a signed form from the seller. A season ticket may not be transferred without a copy of the Teudat Zehut form, copy of the season ticket and a signed power of attorney. Ownership transfer may be done only during the renewal period.

Can I purchase a parking pass?

Parking passes will be available to the general public after the season ticket renewal period is over. An official notice will be released by the club when parking passes will be available to season ticket holders.

How can I get to the Stadium?

There are numerous ways to get to the Netanya Stadium including with public transportation and Israel Railways.

Maccabi Tel Aviv’s captain Eran Zahavi will not travel with the rest of the squad for a pre-season training camp in Austria.

Maccabi’s CEO Martin Bain told the club’s official website: “Due to the ongoing discussions over the past few days we reached a decision that Eran will not travel with the rest of the team to Austria”.

Maccabi Tel Aviv left for Austria today where they will be having their training camp until between June 17-27 in the city of Laa an der Thaya near the Croatian border.

New coach Shota Arveladze who signed this morning did not fly with the team this afternoon to the training camp will join the Club in Austria. The Yellow & Blue have two exhibition matches scheduled on Sunday June 19th against Slovakian side FC DAC 1904 Dunajska Streda and June 23rd versus Hungarian outfit Paksi FC.

The 43-year old Georgian has arrived at Maccabi Tel Aviv and now’s the time to take a look back at his colorful career after having been one of his country’s greatest footballers. Arveladze started out at Dinamo Tbilisi where he played for four years making 69 appearances and scored 52 goals as he also captured four League and Cup titles over that time period.

After his successful stint in Georgia, Arveladze went to the Turkish League for four years and played with Trabzonspor winning one Cup during his time there. Holland and Ajax were next for the striker and he scored 37 goals in the 1997/98 Championship season. Following four years in the Eredivisie where he also took two Cups it was off to Scotland and Rangers for you guessed it, four more years. On the British Isle, Arveladze won two Championships before heading back to Holland and AZ where he poured in 48 goals in 89 matches over the course of two seasons with the club.

The Georgian’s playing career was filled with many Championships and Cups and ended it off in Spain with Levante. However, immediately after his time on the pitch came to a close he returned to AZ Alkmaar and took up the assistant coaching position under Dutch legend Louis van Gaal followed by spells with Ronald Koeman and Dick Advocate until 2010.

From Holland, Arveladze moved to Turkey where he served as a Head Coach for the past six years working at Kayserispor, Kasimpasa and Trabzonspor where he had starred as a player but left midway through this last season. In 2016/17 he will be wearing Yellow & Blue with his first challenge right around the corner as Europa League qualifying kicks off at the end of June.

The Georgian striker scored 291 goals in 410 matches during his 18 year playing career that also included 26 goals in 61 National Team appearances.

Maccabi Tel Aviv FC would like to confirm the appointment of Shota Arveladze, as Head Coach.

The 43-year-old Georgian, who is his country’s all-time top goal scorer joins Maccabi after spending the last 5 years coaching Turkish clubs Trabzonspor, Kasimpasa, Kayserispor. Two years prior to becoming a head coach he was an assistant coach at Dutch outfit AZ working alongside Louis van Gaal, Ronald Koeman and Dick Advocaat.

Sports Director Jordi Cruyff told the clubs’ official website: “We are delighted to have secured the services of the man who was one of our main targets from the moment we set out to appoint a new Head Coach. Shota has such a strong personality and track record in football, that we strongly believe in his ability to achieve things with this club”.

Arveladze told the official website:  “I am really happy to be here and looking forward to meet both the players and Maccabi’s fans who are famous for filling up stadiums. I heard a lot about the atmosphere and so did my family and many supporters in Georgia as well. I know a lot about Maccabi, about its history and tradition as well as how strong and ambitious everyone in and around the club are. This is why I am so happy to be here and I can’t wait to start working”.

Previously and after retiring from a successful playing career in 2008 at Levante, the former Georgia striker who scored 247 goals in 418 appearances for AZ Alkmaar, Glasgow Rangers, Ajax Amsterdam, Trabzonspor and Dynamo Tbilisi – began his coaching career at AZ as the assistant coach.

After  two seasons at AZ (2008-2010), Arveladze moved to Turkey and was appointed as Head Coach of Kayserispor (2010-2012) after which the Georgian joined Istanbul club Kasiampasa (2012-2015). Last summer Arveladze joined Trabzonspor but resigned from his position in November.

Maccabi Tel Aviv FC have come to terms in principle with Jewish central defender Egor Filipenko and Spanish club Malaga on his transfer for the upcoming two years. Over the next few days, the player whose grandmother has lived in Israel for the past 50 years and the Club will begin the process of obtaining the proper approvals required to register Filipenko as an Israeli player and once finalized he will join the squad’s training camp.

The 28-year-old Belarusian who landed in Israel earlier today, began his youth career at Bate Borisov while also making his First Team debut with the club. After two successful seasons, the central defender signed with Spartak Moscow for three years and was loaned to Tom Tomsk and FC Sibir Novosibirsk where he also played in the Europa League. In 2011 Filipenko was loaned back to Bate Borisov where he won another championship.

Following his loan, Borisov reacquired the 1.96 meter defender and helped the Belarusian side to three more league titles. In his last campaign with the club, Filipenko was recognized as the best central defender in the league as well as being one of the top defenders. He signed with Malaga in 2015.

Filipenko made his senior international debut for the Belarus National Team in 2007 during Euro 2008 qualifying as a 19-year-old and has appeared 43 times for his country scoring one goal in a loss to France.
