You’re on your way to renewing your season ticket for 2016/17 but you don’t know where your seats are in the Netanya Stadium? You’re invited to come to the Netanya Stadium to “Get to know your new seat”

Over the past few months, Maccabi Tel Aviv has been preparing to make the transition to the Netanya Stadium as smooth as possible for the fans.

This Friday, June 17th (10:00-15:00) and Saturday June 18th (16:00-20:00) we’re inviting you, our season ticket holders to come to the Netanya Stadium and enjoy the food stands, information kit, Team Store and of course the opportunity to “Get to know your new seat” up close and personal. After being impressed you can renew your season ticket at one of the ten stations that will be available to serve you.

IMPORTANT! You must pre-register in order to participate in one of the two days (The registration form is at the bottom of this page)

The entrance is located in the lobby of the Silver Section 105L (Entrance 4A)

The Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club is happy to announce that season ticket renewals for 2016/17 begins this Friday, June 17th. The renewal period will end on Wednesday June 29th at 12:00.

Over the past few months, Maccabi Tel Aviv has been preparing to make the transition to the Netanya Stadium as smooth as possible for the fans.

All of the season ticket holders who were in reserved seating last year will be able to renew their seats in a similar location to that of Bloomfield Stadium. We are also working on improving the various ways and methods to get to the Stadium.

IMPORTANT! Due to the various requests to change seat locations, the Club has decided to open a Seat Location Change Request List for season ticket renewals for the 2016/17 season. The season ticket renewal period will end on Wednesday June 29th at 12:00 and the request to change seat locations will begin on Sunday July 3rd (following the first Europa League qualifying match).

Season Ticket holders who have not renewed their seats by 12:00 on Wednesday June 29th may not change their seat locations and will lose the right to purchase a season ticket for 2016/17 season. The Club will attempt to do its best to fulfill all of the requests, however, there is no guarantee that a seat location may be changed.

The Club retains the right to deny any specific request.

Season Ticket renewals on June 17-18 will take place at the Netanya Stadium and via the Leaan Website. Season ticket sales to the general public will only take place should seats remain.
You’ve renewed? Receive a free ticket to the first Europa League Qualifying match. Should the Club advance to the next round all season ticket renewals will also receive a ticket to the second Europa League Qualifying match.

Beginning on June 19th Season Tickets may also be renewed via telephone, the Leaan Ticket Office on Dizengoff Street and at the Official Team Stores.

Please Note: Should Season Ticket renewals be very high, Season Tickets won’t be available to the general public. Season Ticket holders who do not renew their Season Tickets by the date indicated lose their rights to purchase a Season Ticket.

• The determination of where your new Netanya Stadium seats are compared to where they were in Bloomfield Stadium was done by weighing all of the limitations. In order to renew your Season Tickets for the Netanya Stadium you will need your current Season Ticket card (Section, Row, Seat).
• At the end of the Season Ticket renewal period your ticket for the first Europa League qualification match will be sent via email for Home Printing (for those that renewed online or via telephone) or you will be given a printed ticket (for those who renewed in person). Information concerning the distribution of the Season Tickets will be released at a later date.

We’re in the midst of the month of June and the 2016/17 season is already upon us. The Maccabi Tel Aviv players have made their way back to Kiryat Shalom just two days prior to flying out to their Austria training camp. The players underwent physicals this morning with the professional staff while those who were with their national teams including Eran Zahavi, Dor Micha, winger Tal Ben Chaim, Dor Peretz, Eitan Tibi, Predrag Rajikovic and Haris Medunjanin will return on Thursday.

Yossi Benayoun joined his new teammates at Kiryat Shalom this morning and the midfielder will fly with the Club to Austria on Thursday where training camp will take place between June 16-27.

Yossi Benayoun will join Maccabi Tel Aviv FC on a one-year-deal after the former Israel captain signed a contract at the club and will report tomorrow for preliminary tests with some members of the squad as pre season gets underway.

Maccabi’s Sports Director Jordi Cruyff told the clubs’ official website: “Benayoun is a player with a wealth of experience and great qualities who I am sure will be a great addition to Maccabi Tel Aviv’s squad. Both myself , Martin Bain and Mitch Goldhar are working hard to execute our plans we agreed upon some weeks ago  ”. 

Benayoun told  the club’s official website: “I am delighted ahead of the new challenge in my career and really hoping that we will succeed together”.

Benayoun, enjoyed a successful career in Spain with Racing Santander then moved to England and played for a host of clubs in West Ham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Queens Park Rangers before returning to Israel and spending the last two seasons at Maccabi Haifa.

Maccabi Tel Aviv agreed on a 3-year-deal with Tibi. Nothing is signed but terms are agreed in principle.

Martin Bain, the Club’s CEO said: “Eitan Tibi had been a key member of our squad and a player who has helped achieve a great deal of success and I am sure that he can be a key player in our ambitions in the years ahead.”

Since joining Maccabi Tel Aviv in the summer of 2012, Tibi has made 178 appearances for the Club including in the Champions League and Europa League. Tibi has won three championships with the Yellow & Blue as well as a State Cup and Toto Cup.

EURO 2016 is right around the corner and it will be the biggest tournament yet as 24 teams will battle for the European crown. The Bosnian National Team who featured in the same EURO qualifying group as Israel and who didn’t advance to the tourney, travelled to Japan to participate in the Kirin Cup with the National Team sides of Denmark, Bulgaria and of course the hosts Japan.

Haris Medunjanin was given the captain’s armband for the team’s first round match against Denmark that ended 2:2 and went to penalty kicks. The deciding spot kick was taken by the Yellow & Blue midfielder who stepped up against Danish keeper and Leicester City shot stopper Kasper Schmeichel. The midfielder sent the ball right into the back of the goal to lift his side into the tournament’s final against Japan.

In the championship match, Medunjanin’s side came back from a deficit and ended up capturing the Kirin Cup. As captain, Medunjanin then had the privilege to lift the trophy for his country and enjoy the victory until his return to training at Kiryat Shalom.
