Domingo Marin

Domingo Marin joined Maccabi Tel Aviv as Professional Assistant at the beginning of the 2012/13 season together with MTA sports director Jordi Cruyff, with whom he had worked for in the preceding season at Cypriot side AEK Larnaca F.C. Marin began his coaching career at age 17 with the Under-10s at the Spanish football academy La Salle Bonanova Club. He remained for seventeen years, rising up the age ladder and spending his last two years coaching the Under-18s. In 2009 he joined the academy of Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, in his maiden year as coach and in his second year as the academy's sport director. It was then that he moved on to AEK Larnaca as assistant coach and scout under then sports director Cruyff, accompanying him to Israel when the latter came to Maccabi Tel Aviv a year later. Since his arrival Marin has won with the club two consecutive "Winner" (Israeli Premier) League titles in 2012/13 and 2013/14.
