Mavis Tchibota

The Congolese striker Mavis Tchibota came to Maccabi Tel Aviv as an 18-year old during the 2012/13 season and began to train with the Under-17s. His exceptional talents first emerged during an international Under-17 tournament in Germany, where Tchibota finished as the competition's highest scorer with five goals and the title of the tournament's outstanding player. In May of 2013, Tchibota helped his side finish third in a tournament attended by Under-17 teams from German sides Borussia Dortmund, Stuttgart and FC Cologne and Swiss champions FC Basel. In 2013/14 Tchibota played for Maccabi's Under-19s and at the beginning of the 2014/15 season he joined the senior squad at their pre-season training camp in Austria.

During the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, Tchibota was loaned to Hapoel Kfar Saba while in 2017/18 he was loaned out to Bnei Yehuda. The summer of 2018 saw the winger return to Maccabi and attended its preseason training camp.
