The Maccabi Tel Aviv squad were in no mood to let the wintry weather interfere with their final practice at Kiryat Shalom training ground ahead of their all-important Europa League match against Bordeaux tomorrow night at Bloomfield Stadium at 8pm. Assuming Maccabi can avoid defeat, they'll have booked their place in the following knock-out phase of the competition. And even if they don't, a loss by fellow groupmates APOEL Nicosia to Eintracht Frankfurt would still suffice to see the Maccabeans advance to the round of 32.
