Shota Arveladze didn’t hide his disappointment following the Yellow & Blue’s disappointing 1:0 defeat to Bnei Yehuda at Haberfeld Stadium. Maccabi didn’t look good and gave up a lone goal off of a header by Almog Bozaglo. Arveladze spoke about his feelings at the end of the contest:

“Its difficult to express my thoughts right now because I’m very disappointed. This is the most difficult time for us. We had a bad game and there can be no excuses. The simplest explanation is that this is football. This isn’t the first time that a weaker club has defeated a stronger one. There are plenty of excuses and we can discuss them all, the travel, the injuries etc… the Sport Director is here to make decisions and he knows what needs to be changed. There has to be a change in our ability so we can get back to where we were a month and a half ago.”

On the future:

“I always look ahead and not backwards because I can’t change what has already happened. I’ll do my best together with the players to change the situation.”

On the rumors concerning Krasnodar:

“I won’t comment on rumors from Russia.”
