I would like to thank everyone affiliated to the club from the staff at Kiryat Shalom, the people at the offices, the coaching and medical staff members who worked with me during this time, my teammates who shared the dressing room and amazing moments I will never forget. The past three years have been an incredible rollercoaster, filled with highs and lows both on and off the pitch. But throughout it all, my fiancée and I have always felt the unwavering love and support of the people of Tel Aviv. I will see you at Bloomfield on Saturday to push one more time together. Yalla Maccabi!”
Van Overeem represented Maccabi 22 times in European competitions and played a key role in the historic qualification to the Conference League Round of 16 in 2023/24 and the inaugural EUROPA League phase of 2024/25.
In three successful seasons at Maccabi, van Overeem, won 4 trophies: 1 League Championship (23/24), 2 Toto Cups (23/24, 24/25) and 1 Super Cup (24/25).
