Dor Turgeman will leave Maccabi Tel Aviv to join the New England Revolution, following an agreement reached with the MLS club for the transfer of the 21-year-old forward.

A graduate of Maccabi’s Youth Academy, Turgeman joined the club in 2018 and made his senior debut at just 17 years old in the Toto Cup Final of August 2020. Turgeman then spent a season on loan at Beitar Tel Aviv Bat Yam, where he scored five goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for the second division club.

Returning to Maccabi the following season, Turgeman scored his first senior goal, a dramatic late winner in a State Cup tie against Maccabi Petah Tikva. His breakthrough came in the 2023/24 campaign, when he scored 12 goals in all competitions to help the club win the League Championship, Toto Cup, and reach the Conference League Round of 16.

Last season, Turgeman scored 19 goals and added eight assists as Maccabi won another League Championship and Toto Cup, as well as competing in the inaugural Europa League phase. This season, Turgeman helped Maccabi secure another European campaign and marked his 120th appearance by scoring his 33rd goal for the club.

On the international stage, Turgeman scored once in 10 senior appearances for the Israel national team. At youth levels, Turgeman represented Israel at U17, U19, U20, U21, and U23, scoring a total of 7 goals in 35 appearances and featuring in the U19 Euro Final, the FIFA U20 World Cup Semi-Final, the U21 Euro Semi-Final, and the Paris Olympic Games.

Maccabi Tel Aviv FC thanks Turgeman for his dedication, professionalism, and contribution throughout his years in Yellow and Blue.

Thank you, Dor, for everything you have given to Maccabi – and best of luck in your future career
