Vincent Enyeama first joined the Israeli league when he was 24, after signing a contract with Bnei Yehuda. After two years with Bnei Yehuda Enyeama signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv and became one of the best goalkeepers in Israel. Enyeama played four years for Hapoel, won the 2009/10 Double, the Israeli cup for 2010/11 and even qualified for the UEFA Champions' league group stage. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Nigerian goalkeeper became the first goalkeeper of Nigeria's national team and played the World cup tournament in South Africa. In 2011 Enyeama joined the French League after signing Lille. A year later, Maccabi Tel Aviv reached an agreement with French outfit Lille for a season-long-loan-deal for goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.
