Peter Van der Berg

Peter Van den Berg joined  Maccabi Tel Aviv as Patrick van Leeuwen’s Assistant Coach after the 49-year-old Dutchman agreed a one-year-deal with an option to extend by a further season.

After spending his entire 20-year-long professional playing career in Holland, Van den Berg began his coaching career at Sparta Rotterdam’s Youth Academy (2009) before stepping-up into the first team as Assistant Coach and Interim Head Coach (2013-2014). Van den Berg was then appointed as Head Coach at one of his former clubs RKC Waalwijk (2015-2017) and guided them within three years from the bottom of the second division to the promotion Play-Offs. Dutch giants Feyenoord Rotterdam, where he spent a season as a player, appointed Van den Berg in 2018 as Head Coach of the U-23’s. Van den Berg then left Holland for the first time in 2019 to join UAE club Al Jazira as Assistant coach and later that year worked for the Saudi Arabian FA Youth Academy.

Barak Itzhaki

אחרי קריירה מפוארת מתוכה 7 שנים האחרונות היו במדי מכבי תל אביב, ברק יצחקי הודיע בעונת 2017/18 על פרישה מכדורגל ומיד החל בתפקיד מקצועי במכבי תל אביב. ביוני 2021 מונה יצחקי באופן רשמי לתפקיד מנהל מחלקת הכדורגל של מכבי תל אביב.

Brandley Kuwas

Kuwas, made his first footballing footsteps at the Youth Academy of AZ Alkmaar before making his senior debut for Volendam in 2012. The Curacao international winger scored 15 goals in 103 appearances for Volendam in the Dutch second division, which led to a move to Excelsior in 2015 where he scored 4 goals in 34 appearances in the Dutch top flight. The following season, Kuwas joined Heracles Almelo and in two seasons still in the top flight, scored 21 goals in 96 appearances.

Kuwas, played last season at Abu Dhabi club Al Jazira FC for which he scored 3 goals in 13 appearances whilst on loan from Dubai club Al Nasr whom he joined in 2019 and scored 5 goals in 31 appearances.
