The Spanish left-back, 187cm, joined Maccabi in the summer of 2018 from Athletic Bilbao, where he made 23 appearances last season in all competitions for the La Liga club he joined in 2010. Saborit, was loaned out by the Basque club in 2014/15 and spent a season with Mallorca for which he made 18 appearances in all competitions. The Barcelona born defender emerged from RCD Espanyol’s youth academy and represented his country at U19, U18 and U17 levels.
Immediately after joining Maccabi, Saborit, played a key role in Vladimir Ivic’s team. Saborit, won the league title at the end of the 2018/19 season after scoring 3 goals and 4 assists in 43 appearances in all competitions. The Spanish born left-back, maintained his good form during the 2019/20 season as well, scoring 1 goal and assisting three more in 37 appearances – to win his second league title.
Christos Kelpekis, who was also a member of Ivic’s coaching staff at PAOK for four years both at the Youth Academy and senior side, joined Maccabi as Goalkeeping Coach.
Kelpekis, who as a goalkeeper represented Greece at U-21 level, previously played for Iraklis Thessaloniki, Anagennisi Giannitsa, Makedonikos Neapolis, Apollon Pontou, PAE Veria and PS Kalamata before retiring in 2013 and began coaching.
Darko Obradovic, who began coaching at his hometown club of FC Obilic Belgrade, joined Maccabi as Fitness Coach, having worked in the past in no less than 7 other countries – FC BSK Borca Belgrade (Serbia), FC Budocnost (Montenegro), Al Ittihad Tripoli (Libya), FC Changsha Ginde (China), FC Shahrdari Tabriz (Iran), Najran SC (Saudi Arabia), CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria), Litex Lovech (Bulgaria), FC Guizhou Renhe (China), Ittifaq (Saudi Arabia) and FC Vozdovac.

Milos Veselinovic guided FK Vozdovac to fifth place in the Serbian top flight in the 2017/28 season as head coach and returns to work as Ivic’s Assistant Coach, a position he held at PAOK when the Thessaloniki side won the Greek Cup in 2017.
Veselinovic, who previously coached FK Javor Ivanjica, FK Indija, Srem-Sremska Mitrovica, had also several spells at his hometown club Radnicki Obrenovac, where he began his coaching career in the youth department before progressing all the way to coach the senior side. As a player, Veselinovic, had his career cut-short by an injury, but after making his early footballing footsteps at the Red Star academy, he represented Yugoslavia’s young national teams from U15’s to U19’s.
