Defender Omri Ben Harush, who played the full 90 minutes in the derby, summed it all up: "I'm happy for the team and the fans"

Winning last night's derby wasn't the only reason for Maccabi Tel Aviv to celebrate. The team have now gone seven league matches and 714 league minutes without conceding a goal. One of last night's warriors helping to defend the Maccabi goal was fullback Omri Ben Harush, who usually plays a big role going forward: "We felt good out there and there was a lot of flow in our game. The fans also gave us a push and all together it made us attack more. We're happy for the goals and for the goalscorers". And how did he feel personally? "It's always great to win a derby. I'm happy for the team and for the fans that came to the match, it's the greatest feeling in the world

Ben Harush, who was also in the first eleven for the tumultuous derby last November, described the feeling in the dressing room before the match: "We all said we'd try to keep things calm, just play our game and give as good a performance as we know we can. I'm happy we succeeded and won the game".  Like at every derby, the Maccabi faithful in the terraces were a powerful force during the match, a point not lost on the twenty-four year-old defender: "We can always feel the fans down on the pitch, especially at matches like this. There were thousands of them and they all came out in support, it made us very happy. We love them all". Starting Sunday Maccabi enter a crowded fixture schedule of three matches in eight days: "We'll have a short rest now, then get back to training and get ready for the matches ahead".
