Maccabi Tel Aviv has one of its busiest weeks ever! The youth team is opening their season, there’s a Toto Cup match along with a Ligat Winner game, of course the UEFA Champions League, Rosh HaShana and one more special surprise for all of the Maccabi supporters. To make sure you don’t miss one item we’ve prepared a calendar of events for you for the upcoming seven days of pure Yellow-and-Blue action. 09/09 – Wednesday – Bnei Yehuda vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv (Toto Cup)

This coming Wednesday the “Little Tel Aviv Derby” returns after a year hiatus. On Matchday Five of the Toto Cup, Maccabi will play its third game as they will be the visitors against Bnei Yehuda at Bloomfield Stadium. The first match of the Yellow-and-Blue’s busy schedule may determine who advances to the next stage of the tournament, Maccabi or Bnei Yehuda.

12/09 – Saturday – Maccabi “Shachar” Tel Aviv vs. Ashdod (Ligat Winner Youth League)

The Under-19 club opens their season as Ziv Arie’s side will attempt to defend their title with a brand new team. Maccabi “Shachar” will face Ashdod on Matchday One at the Ramla Stadium at 12:00. This will just be the beginning of the Under-19’s week.

12/09 – Saturday – Ironi Kiryat Shemona vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv (Ligat Winner)

After the Champions Cup disappointment, Maccabi will visit Kiryat Shemona on Matchday Three of Ligat Winner. The Kiryat Shemona Municipal Stadium is one of the homiest fields in Israel and Maccabi has not won in the Northern city since April of 2013.

13/09 – Sunday – Shana Tova! Happy New Year! Rosh HaShana begins at sundown for the two-day Holiday to begin the new year.

15/09 – Tuesday – The First Team along with the Youth Team takeoff for London and the UEFA Champions League!

16/09 – Chelsea U-19 vs. Maccabi “Shachar” Tel Aviv (Champions League Youth Tournament)

In an Israeli football first, the Maccabi Tel Aviv youth side will be the first club from the country to participate in the Champions League Youth Tournament. Ziv Arie’s team will play the Chelsea U-19 side that won this competition last season. The match will take place at the Cobham Training Centre in London.

16/09 – Wednesday – Chelsea vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv (Champions League Group Stages)

For the past 11 years, this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Wednesday, 21:45, Stamford Bridge. Maccabi Tel Aviv returns to the grand stage of European football with a very enticing match. The English Premier League Champions and one of the strongest clubs in the world, Chelsea will host the Yellow-and-Blue on Matchday One of the Champions League Group Stages. This match will cap off one of the most hectic and exciting weeks for the club. What a Grand Finale!
