Maccabi beats Beitar 4-1

Maccabi climbed to the top of the table for the first time this season as a 4-1 victory over Beitar Jerusalem took them above Maccabi Haifa. Etey Shechter (28), an own goal by Yarden Shuah (49), a penalty from Enric Saborit (53) and Avi Rikan (76) scored the goals that led Maccabi to a ninth successive league win.
