The Under-17 side returned after a short break for Matchday 3 action. The young Yellow & Blue continued on there way as Tal Yegudayev, Rave Assayag and Asaf Hershqo all scored. Head Coach Eliezer Ben Aharon said following the win: “I’m very happy with the responsibility and will the players showed. We were smart enough to play with patience and aggressiveness for the majority of minutes in the match. We feel that the team is improving from match to match and that is very encouraging and exciting. All of the players are using the game methodology in a positive way and are continuing to show improvement. We will continue to improve from training session to training session and we’ll keep moving forward.”

Maccabi “Eldad” Tel Aviv 5:0 Beitar Ramat Gan
The Under-15 South squad defeated Beitar Ramat Gan and moved on in State Cup play. Oskar Glok scored a brace as Elad Kaplan, Rom Gros and Rotem Garama all found the back of the goal. Coach Ori David summed up the contest: “We began the match with 20 minutes of serious blitzing football which allowed us to take a 4:0 lead. The match then slowed down which is something that we will have to find way to improve so we can play at a higher level throughout more minutes of the match. We were able to score one more goal which was a good way to seal the deal.”

The North Under-15 squad also advanced in the State Cup competition as Aviv Peles, Rani Nof and Omri Senior all scored for the young Yellow & Blue. Asaf Heber spoke about the result following the contest: “The first half was a bit slow and we were sluggish and on the pitch. But the second half was another story as we were much more aggressive and applied pressure up front which helped out as the club was able to play fast and intensive football.”
